Some of the things which I cant imagine the activists and d*vorcees forced on us with the new katiba include:

Name changing of key institutions, what for? The function still remains the same and the employees are still wale wale.

ECK to IEBC
CCK to CAK
Police force to Police service
Police kamishna to IG
Vice President to Deputy President
Permanent secretaries to Principal secretaries
Cabinet Ministers to Cabinet Secretaries
Kanjoras to County reps

Blindingly copying the west and especially the US, see the nonsense of having erections every 5th year of the second Tuesday in August...what a bull-shiet? They coul not have picked say third Wednesday of November?
Why copy word-for-word the US style?

You see most of the "experts" who drafted the new katiba are dissidents who won green-card at age 21 to go wallow in US, then they came back divorced at age 55 thinking that they know what ails the mother country.

Some of them have never lived a family/married life yet they defined for us how we should land in out bedrooms!

See the "katiba experts" below, she always scares the heol outta me...!!!!

@impyunete, why would Atsango scare the heoo out of you?Laughing out loudly

True CoE did too much c&P but it's not too far from what we wanted, is it? The system is very American and we may have to alter it to fit our British Commonwealth oriented mindset

The MPs actually are pushing to have weekly question time for Ministers just as in the old system. Guys are complaining that the technocrat guys are not as colourful as politician-CSs...but that's minor

Laughing out loudly smile Applause d'oh! Sad Drool Liar Shame on you Pray

ION Ugenya MP has started the process of amending the constitution to push elections to Dec 2017

That will most def succeed. There will be near 100% consensus in Parliament!

We so blindingly believed in them, or did we hate Nyayo so much?

About @Atsango, its a looong story.
One Sunday afternoon, around 3pm, I had gone to bank at the StanChat UKay centre (yeah, I bank there FYI).
Now there was no queue to speak of, say two people in font of me and three behind me.

Now fate had that immediately in front of me was one @Nimrob Taabu with Akala shoes and khaki short, queuing to pat rent...behind me and fuming like a puff adder was one @Atsango...Ni hayo tu kwa sasa...

ION: What you see on TV is near perfect, what is is actually there is HEOL-ON-EARTH!

To some, changing names of institutions is all we need. I listened to some fellows discussing reforms to KNEC and guess what they begin with - change of name.

Some guys here talked trash when some of us rejected the katiba - now they are realizing that those experts weren't really experts in the first place

As Ngunyi said, the Committee of experts who assisted in writing the Constitution should have been named "the committee of quacks"

Surely, what does changing the name got to do with REFORMS? Huyo @RAO alichezea watu akili sana.

They thought changing the name from NSIS to NIS would make the intelligence gathering more robust!
SHOCK ON THEIR HAIRY *SSES.

ION: Just in case you forgot, I emphatically voted NO at 2.47pm sunny day...I checked the NO box and the lady staff face was like, "you mean you vote NO in this ODOMO stronghold?"...I telepathically responded to her to instead go to heol or I will land you in this voting cubicle like now!

My pen refused to write and the one on the booth also refused...I beckoned her to over and requested her pen...I marked the NO there-there since I had nothing to fear or hide.
And this was a rural setting so the booth thing was not really a booth but just some mfuano tu!
