I ordered a Blackberry phone from them a couple of months back and I am in Kisumu, so I had to pay the full amount beforehand. Honestly my phone arrived in good time and no complaints. I called their office to confirm some details on the warranty. they were rather helpful. I would say just a bad day my friend.

I bought two tablets earlier this month from their site and I was very impressed by their prompt delivery service and the fact that I only paid after they were delivered. However, the quality of the tablets is what I would describe as rubbish (a model called GenX which is pretty cheap). Both had their screens break on the same day after a low impact collision. I called them and complained about the quality and they told me that the warranty only covers software issues... Oh well, I got what I paid for but I will not be buying from Jumia again. Stocking such poor quality goods is not acceptable.

How do you have a warranty that does not cover hardware??? What kind of rubbish is that?

just for clarity, would you please explain what the hardware issues were, was it the screen was not responding to touch, or the back cover became loose - I wanted to buy from them and after I mailed them about the warranty issue wakaniambia that for phones and tablets warranty is mostly limited to malfunctioning software and inherent or manufacture defects in hardware.
