#Top Ten Kenyan Towns Set To Boom

The verdict is out. After careful data analysis, Propertyzote.com has compiled a list of Top 10 Kenyan towns set to boom before 2030. Here is the breakdown.

#Kisumu, Position 10.

Kenyan port city was founded in 1901. It’s one of the oldest port in Africa and sits on a strategic location of Lake Victoria. It has fertile land and variations in temperature and rainfall with two rainy seasons per year across the region provides a suitable environment for a broad range of agricultural crops.

*Tourist spots include the Kisumu Museum, an impala sanctuary, a bird sanctuary, Hippo Point, Shopping malls and the nearby Kit Mikaye and Ndere Island National.

#Nakuru. Position 9

Nakuru is the 4th largest urban centre in Kenya. UN study released in 2011 and placed Nakuru as Africa's fastest growing town and the fourth in the world.

It has vast agricultural potential with numerous small farms and also vast agricultural enterprises.
Universities include Kabarak, Egerton, other such as Rift valley institute of technology, Kenya industrial training institute, Kenya institute of Management, and branches of other major universities such as UON,
Tourism attraction include lake Nakuru National park, Hyrax hill,
Population of 307,990

# Isiolo, Position 8

At position 8 is Isiolo, It forms a major part of Kenya's economic development plan for vision 2030. Its earmarked in vision 2030 as a Tourist center that will include casinos, hotels, upscale retail outlets, a modern airport and transport facilities such as LAPPSET
Isiolo airport to be upgraded to an International airport. Has acquired a resort city status cashing in on the popular Samburu and Shaba Game reserves
It is expected to transform in the coming years

#Narok. Position 7

Narok has enormous resources that have not been harnessed. Its Mining activities include Gold, quarry and sand harvesting worth more than 2billion shilling.
UN study/research for the Kenya Vision 2030,earmarked Narok County as one of the fundamental counties for the achieving economic pillar.
Its home of world famous tourist attraction places- Maasai Mara National Park, Keekorok Lodge, Mara Sentrim, Kempinski MaraCovers 17,774 square km, and has potential for more agricultural activity

Turkana town, wherever it is should really boom and deserves that position 1.

Oil is major and depending on where the processing is eventually done, should create a major growth epicenter. I was however under the impresion that we plan to export crude.

Lamu will also grow same for Eldy and Kisumu, Macha and Thika sahau, not as fast as predicted here.

Some guys here are under-estimating Turkana, economic boom means "time of rapid growth in wealth". For what Turkana is now and what will look like in the next 15 years or so, it is bound to completely transform (unless ofcourse the County is mismanaged).
Lets not forget that water was discovered in Turkana recently enough to supply Kenya for the next 70 years. 250billion cubic meters of water to be specific.

Precarious. If oil breaches US $ 60, it becomes unviable. It seems to be headed there.
