Come on. That's the only thing of importance that university has ever done. Why not take advantage of it. There motto will from now be

Even though we produce poor quality students, we still host jubilee functions.

No wonder WSR took his son there. They must be preparing for 2017.

We should always be careful when passing rash judgements especially in Catholic institutions. This hall construction started when CUEA celebrated its 25th anniversary in 1996 - in other words - Jubilee derived from the old testament. I even attended a public lecture in that hall when it was opened in 2003 during the NARC administration and it was still called Jubilee Hall. Just for information for @alma - that University has been offering graduate studies to the Catholic clergy and religious from East and Southern Africa since 1971. It is a member of the network of the International Federation of Catholic Universities - recognised by UNESCO et al. Lets use Google before keying in our biases.

I humbly apologise.

i was getting my information from mawinder and impunity. I guess I should have known better.

I apologise once again for falling for their trap and the statements I made.

Now the issue of quality and passing judgement on religious institutions, I will leave those to myself

I will edit and remove my statement.

@alma, thank you for your humility in accepting when on the wrong. I respect that. Believe me you, each of us and I believe our country would probably be better off if we did that more often. Blessings.

@mawinder CUEA jubilee hall was there before the digital government. popularly known as JH there are others such as rugabwa hall etc. the new hall is part of the new complex known as learning resource centre housing a cafe, and the library among other facilities. by the way CUEA is owned By an institution known as AMECEA. check your facts before you misinform the public
