Just wondering, since the terrorists were prepared to die on their mission, why were they going to such great lengths to hide their identities like destroying the remains of their fellow terrorists?

while accomplishing a feat in the name of religion, they don't want to jeopardize the chances of those coming after them for the same....and u cant give the FBI forensics team even an iota of DNA, they might just map your whole family and nip in the bud, budding would-be suicide bombers, terrorists, etc....

ditto...but still am sure they will get something and one day, you might hear a brother or a cousin of so and so arrested at some port of entry.
