Good. Let's see what the counties do with the cash. If they do well then they can fight for more. So does it meaning the meeting the governors had with dp was of no consequence or is uhuru trying to show who's boss?

He's clever...for socio-economic reasons. Hiyo pesa extra yenye Senate iliongeza kwa bill ingetoka wapi? Had he gone the Senate way, VAT would've been returned on foodstuffs like bread and corn meal....hence causing social discontentment. My fear is that he has indirectly lend a hand to chest thumping of the House of greed.

Good move, I would have done the same if I was in his position. There is no end in sight for the senate-nat. Assembly war. This could cripple govt operations at both national n county levels. If this had gone for mediation, it would have meant the bill would be defeated if senate rejected it meaning noo funds for govt. Let Murkomen now move to supreme court.

The DPORK was busy with the meeting as the PORK signed the bill.

Well done. Mr President, I envy you. The president was decisive, and i believe the law is on his own side.
Senate is a house with less powers than what they would like us to believe.

The Senate is surely a " Nyumba ya wazee". If they have no say in allocation of funds for the County's, what are they for?
