There appears to be issues in this house; http://elections.nation....4/-/wrldms/-/index.html
Excerps; Candidates selected in the recently concluded nominations to run for various seats in Nairobi under The National Alliance (TNA) have rejected their governorship candidate.
The candidates and the losers in the nominations rejected the outgoing Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu and said they were considering “other options”.
The winners and losers in the nominations heckled and booed the former MP on Monday night at a meeting called by the party at Sagret Hotel in Milimani, Nairobi.
Party leader and Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta boycotted the meeting called by party officials via Short Messages Service (SMS). The aspirants had arrived at the hotel as early as 6pm. The message had asked them to be prompt, as the meeting would start at 7pm. By midnight, Mr Kenyatta had not showed up. His aides were seen conversing in low tones as angry aspirants said the party had “wasted their time”.
The aspirants had responded to an SMS sent by Secretary General Onyango Oloo to meet at the hotel in the evening.
According to sources within the party, Mr Kenyatta was to address the candidates and the losers in an effort to forge a united front in the city against an onslaught by their competitors, The Coalition of Reform and Democracy (CORD).Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

This situation is intractable, I don't think Waititu will cede, how are they going to remove him without shooting themselves in the head?

Its Waititu vs Kidero. I have said before Kidero will trounce this guy and given the reasoning behind this enough times, I dont think he will manage 20% of the vote lets revisit after the elecion if their is no opportunity for a better candidate. I live, was born and bred in Nairobi, those who called this meeting are Nairobians in the thick of things. All this from someone who says PK will be president? i interact with all sorts sio kuishi cyberspace. Ras Kienyeji Man

Even if a scientific survey was used, Jubilee guys do not believe them...remember like back in 2007, most comments from the predorminantly PNU/TNA group arrogantly asked, "Raila may win, but who will be sworn in?"...It is the same feeling I get with the coming elections....Swear yourself in and ask the "loser" to go to court...However, back in 2007, Karooa had set up the courts...this time the courts seem a bit impartial...

This is a good question and i find the behavior of TNA self defeating. Politics is dirty but they are taking to a new level PS. I Believe I am happy

YT2 is nothing without TNA and TNA is UK Im thinking TNA/UK will be more comfortable with a Jimnah win in NBO considering they are both of the same feathers in matters wealth class and style... should i add language as well.. YT2, to the two, must be uncouth

I've said before, Kidero vs Waititu will be a whitewash. Kidero will be like a dear in the headlights. Can't see myself voting for any of them though Jose: If I make it through this thug life, I'll see you one day. The Lord is the only way to stop the hurt.

Can't see myself voting for any of them though There's Kavemba from Wiper. If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

Regardless there have nowhere to go and give their support UMK knows they support him on tribal basis and they cannot go anywhere for the presidential votes.
