Water minister Charity Ngilu has walked out of the
ODM/Wiper/Ford Kenya coalition despite taking part in
its signing ceremony on Tuesday.
The minister rejected an offer from the Coalition for
Reform and Democracy (Cord) to join them and
reopened negotiations with the TNA/URP/UDF coalition.
According to her party spokesman, Mr Alex Ng’ang’a,
Mrs Ngilu is bitter about being duped into signing a
“deceptive coalition document” which specified no
significant role for the Narc leader or her party.

Charity Ngilu’s NARC is curiously not listed among parties that deposited coalition agreements with the Registrar of Political Parties on Tuesday.

The list from the registrar shows that the agreement that was signed at KICC was between Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper Democratic Party, Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and FORD-Kenya.

Pole kwake. While Kenyans took to insulting Kalonzo, the guy was busy solidifying his ethnic base. Charity reminds me of Michukis reference to her style as one who is dancing wathii wa Mukamba dance. How right he was! In the end, Brother Steve has won and is vindicated. It is now clear that those coining insults against him were from Tingas side judging from the fizzling out of those insults.

She has to remain relevant and that cannot happen with her in the shadow of Kalonzo unfortunately she's realizing she's loosing her relevance a little too late.
