Boxed to a corner, Uhuruto were compelled to troop to Mudavadi’s residence, where they persuaded him to drop his earlier plans of Joining P.Kenneth & Tuju in signing the already planned and publicly announced coalition deal between the trio at Uhuru parks Freedom corner.

One can only imagine Uhuruto going down on their knees to plead with Mudavadi to come to their rescue.

They then dropped all their conditionalities (ati anybody joining us must know the first two slots are taken) including the MOST coveted TOP PRIZE – the Presidency!

Mudavadi will be the coalitions Presidential candidate - which is a good thing.
Mudavadi isnt a polarising character, hence his chances are much better than Uhuru's.

That said, What makes me most satisfied is that the people who have been perceived as “ not being able to vote for ‘others’ are now whipped into VOTING FOR OTHERS wapende wasipende!

Uhuruto thought themselves very wajaja politicians, only to realize that the boot is on the other foot.
Now, they are talking to Mudavadi at his terms.

It never gets trickier!

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly don't think so...jana RAO caught this group off guard..infact if ODM had delayed their announcement, these guys would not be trooping to kiss MDvD's feet and the two groups would be finished!! MDvD has handed them a lifeline....

You see, when parties from all corners of the republic trooped to KICC yesterday, this send shivers down the spines of the two who were, until then, only thinking in terms of Kalenjins and Kikuyus. They will have a very difficult task of making the coalition have any semblance of 'national'. Probably they will need to go for Mranja (MRC)! Hasn't Sonko paid up their fines. But ooh not again! From Mugiiki to MRC would sound a death knell to the party.

Which karata? Not after locking out 40 communities. And don't tell me I am tribal because that is the nature of our politics.

It can't be Karata when they agree on nominations in 14 days without any idea how it will be carried out!!!

Its very easy to forget that SKM was actally pushed out of the Uhuruto alliance.

@ Motomoto

What parties are you talking about Kalembe's TIP? Njenga's Mkenya sijui nni? or is it Magara's PDP? The main coalition was between ODM and Wiper hizo zingine hazina support. Btw why have you failed to point out that TNA/URP alliance has individuals from "all corners" of this country, i don't think naming them is really necessary....The Kikuyu/Kalenjin talk is based on who will be Pres and who'll be VP ama an ODM govt will have 40 VP positions.

Wacheni pororjo kama 2007, watu waheshimiane na tukutane kwa debe.

How long does CORD have to determine the flag bearer?

14 days for this group is a close shave, hope the modalities are there, especially if MDvD insists on county nominations, or he will call them dictators...

it looks like a well written script and it started when that integrity case was withdrawn and will end when UK looses to MDVD in the nominations those demands were to lock out certain individuals.one thing is for certain this group is a step ahead of the other led by OAR

Thats correct, I think the plan was to lock out MaDVD from the equation, and they have succeeeded perfectly. Their choice is simple, Mudavadi, or Uhuru & Ruto, so its Mudavadi out.

This is the plan coz they are sure that with just two major players, the elctions will be finished in just the 1st round......it was to avoid a 3rd force of Madvd/PK!!!!
