do they have the numbers to win? i think majority of the people who will vote for them would probably have voted for tinga were it a 2 horse race proper. so ODM number crunchers will probably not be amused by this development.

None has the numbers to win, hence the group that they will support for round 2 will take it

What mind? Do they have any mind anyway?
The only uniting factor is tribal arithmetic; Why cant Messi have a like mind with Ole-Kiyiapi? Because his tribal equation is not balancing.
So stop misusing the |like minded lie"

if MDVD agrees to be running mate then the whole luhya nation goes back to OAR but if MDVD is presidential candidate then thats an additional 1million votes in his basket kaos would rather back him than OAR UMK and WSR. but in reality hii ni kelele everybody will be on his own come 4th december

In the last 2 elections, Madvd found himself on the losing side. I think he has not made the right choices.... politically.... or he has not been able to get adequate support for his choices.

Maybe this is another bad decision....he may find himself in the losing side.....who knows...just maybe.

They only come to OAR in order to increase their negotiating powers in other parties, this you can ask anyone with a clear mind.

So now KANU is back, through the back door with new names?

All these are former KANU operatives. The forest may have changed, but not the inhabitants of the forest!!!

What new ideas/agendas do these guys have, if any? I have heard a lot of politics with few ideas/new agenda/issues highlighted.

how funny.he has tried to make alliances but nobody wants him.i guess to you if Rao would have teamed up with Ruto it would have been national but if Ruto teams up with UMK it is tribal. The hypocrisy of ODM and those who have double standards

Its laughable to say but the least. The two have no solid support from anywhere. In Africa to win any election you must either be a warlord or have a solid block to support you.

Thats why Ruto, uhuru, Rao will always be big names.

Simple arithmetic will tell you that you can never rule here if fail to get either or both rift valley and/or central Kenya vote. Numbers don't lie. And facts are quite stubborn.

The only chance RAO has to retire with dignity is to be a running mate to PK and forget the likes of Ang'ang Nyong' (A huge liability). The way I see it, he will try and join hands with one Gideon and that will be the last nail in their already covered coffin.

Keep it simple

I wouldn't be shocked if he said MM tosha. He is smart and if he know he will not hack it, he better be influential in the next govt. He did it in 02, he can do it again.
