You choice of Police Inspector General is a CID officer who was in charge in the Rift Valley during the clashes? CID means Criminal Investigation Department. How many people have been investigated, prosecuted, sentenced and are serving jail terms for criminal activities during the clashes as a result of his efforts being the senior honcho at the time? I lack further words. I really do.

The 4000 cases have probably been investigated the Kenyan way. No one will be convicted on the basis of this investigation I assure you! Great men are not always wise, neither do the aged understand judgement...

Very well. Let me rephrase. Take me through the qualities that make him stand out head and shoulders above the rest of the pack, in your opinion.

Foz00 wrote:Mohammed Ibrahim Amin first time i watched this chap at the ICC I wanted him as my police chief Why? What exactly did he do as you watched him at ICC to make you want him as your chief of police? Or because he was a witness for a cause you were partial to? I was referring to your knowledge of the process of prosecution and sentencing in Kenya. investigated, prosecuted, sentenced and are serving jail terms for criminal activitiesA crime is committed, an investigator conducts an investigation and hands over the results to the Prosecutor. A Prosecutor argues the case before a Magistrate/Judge based on the results of the Investigator's report. The Magistrate/Judge renders a verdict of guilty or not guilty based on the Prosecutor's argument based on the Investigator's results. A guilty verdict results in sentencing. So. Enlighten me (us). If that is not the chain of command for the process, what is?
