I know one custom and bullet proof merc. Price is enough to carry out a by election somewhere. "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.

Quote: The car is fitted with an internal siren system and emergency lights that can baffle an incoming driver in the event of a head-on collision.
How will this prevent a head-on corrishen? Sub-standard reporting of course. Portfolio: Sold You know you've made it when you get a parking space for your yatcht.

Cant believe the substandard research and reporting. The price is exaggerated to begin with. An armoured Toyota Lexus/Land Cruiser cost less than $200,000 with all those accessories and much more than that for instance gun ports, automatic fire suppressant systems, automatic electronic counter measures et al. Second, Toyota does not armour vehicles after a second world war embargo. All Toyota Armoured vehicles out there are modified after production in companies such BAE (UK & RSA, svos (czech republic), JANKEL (Jordan and UK), STOOF (Germany) et al. On the other hand, there are special mine protected vehicles and looking at the photo of the alleged MM car, it lacks the underlying reasons/principles to offer mine protection. A standard B6 armoured car protects you from 7 plus riffle shots and some level of shrapnel. B6 Verified offers slightly more protection. All in all, the journalist carried out substandard research and came up with an emotional article. "You've never lived until you've almost died; for those who have fought for it, life has a flavour the protected will never know."

The part about electric shock when you near the car is most hilarious.....or maybe the age of wireless electricity is with us.This is beyond sub-standard. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

"First, the author of this article is either stupid or oblivious cos he/she isn't giving the right information. Do you know what a Ksh36m car looks like? The reality is that this vehicle doesn't cost the amount stated. A DVD navigation system and rear view camera can be equipped in any car, for instance, Toyota hybrid (Prius). You should either stop fooling Kenyans or I will assume that you are an idiot who doesn't know what he/she is talking about. You are disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourself".
Can't agree more!

^^Hata ikiwa Custom made?? There's one I know costing 'almost' the same amount inclusive of shipping costs and tax. It was made according to owners own specification. Wacha tu. "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.

@ Impunity! Dont know if to cal them tasers but Armoured vehicles used in war zones are fitted with optional security features commonly know as "electronic counter measures- ECM". The role of the ECM is to avert an explosion caused by an Improvised explosive device (IED), similar to what was used in the Moi Avenue explosion. Criminals are known to use mobile phones, RF or GSM enabled devices to activate IED's which may be hidden either in the vehicle or by the roadside. Remember when Clinton was visiting Nairobi, at one point there was no mobile phone network coverage at all; that is the work of the electronic counter measure. I doubt if MM car has been installed with such measures as the aerials are visibly missing from the car. @ Wendz! I can teach the dude quite a bit of armoured vehicle stuff "You've never lived until you've almost died; for those who have fought for it, life has a flavour the protected will never know."

The belly of the vehicle is armoured to withstand the blast and shrapnel from detonation of land mines, grenades and other Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). .....seriously does this guy know the kind of IED's that some psychos can assemble?
