Kalonzo Kalonzo as an egg without salt,
"On a scale of 1-10 on who would win the presidency, i'll give him a 3 and if a miracle happens, i'll give him a 3.5"

My personal opinion: Mutahi Ngunyi is way overrated but I like him and his a gem for the media. Maybe he should consider running? BBI will solve it :)

Political analyst's are largely opinionated individuals. They thrive on capturing the political mood and making opinions based on their own intrests and/or intrests of their masters. Ngunyi built his name with his "infamous" former sunday nation articles. Now he has to remain relevant through "paid" appearances in political news or talkshows.

I kinda felt he has not captured the mood of the people very correctly this time... he seems to believe that UK and WR are such a powerful force they can pull it through next year... i dont know why i dont have that feeling.... From the few individuals i have interacted with, majority don't have a candidate as yet... and this is from the tribal divide.... when i watched power breakfast the other day when Tuju was being interviewed, majority of the respondents were kikuyus, and they were all praises of him and even one requesting he visits "muranga".... that tells you, people are looking for someone new.... A strategic alliance of Tuju, Musyimi, PK, MWK, with the backing of guys like Ababu, some of those young somalis who are already making their name, etc will be a very strong force and will completely change the political strategies of those who think they have the "power".... mainly because they are not "tainted or fully aligned" with any of the "powers that be/were". That's my opinion.

Wendz, I bet your friends are well schooled and polished but unfortunately they are hardly the ones who carry the votes in politics. They are yet to get to critical mass. People back in the villages and slums of major towns/cities, who are more likely to be influenced by tribal politics seem to carry the day. I don't see this year being any different. It will take sometime for Kenyan politics to 'mature' to issues/interest based.

Compared to who?. Overrated by the media. There are many political analysts but it looks like his views are treated like gospel. Anyway as I said earlier he's a gold mine for any media station that has him especially in 2012. He can also shape or change voters' opinions. BBI will solve it :)

However, the Outcome of "the Hague problem" will be make or break for UK & Ruto and by extension RAO. Falasi sasa hivi ni watatu, hao wengine ni P
