To me he sounded like someone who had only been coached to say "yes your honor", or "no your honor".

his response to whether Ruto was a member of UDM proved that he had been coached

A trained chemist, an expert in chemistry now purports to be a specialist in linguistics.

Didnt someone tell him an experts opinion in his field is more valued than a pedestrians opinion in the same field.

His chemical analysis and conclusion that the Kiambaa fire was started by exploding lpg cylinders would have been more credible and believable.

wacheni kuchukia kizungu ya professor.

This language is foreign and we are no experts in it.ask Njenga mwananichi.

The prof is a chemistry expert not by political honours but by hardwork.

I don't understand why he was called as a witness for Sang. He was more intent on clearing his organisation's name and did little else to clear Sang of any wrong doing. He maintained that his relationship with Sang was customer buyer and nothing else, one should have then asked him how he can confirm with finality sang's innocence. As to why Ocampo's mboch'es failed to exploit this is well beyond me.

Now the victim's lawyer is quite something, very sharp.

Katwa Kigen is just there to spend enough time on camera so all his village mates can see him on TV. His appreciation of his task is seriously pedestrian

I thought so. Within the 1st minute of questioning she had made the good bishop agree to the fact that crimes were committed. Something he had previously refused to admit.

LOL, @ burning spear....

Anyway, Obi 1 kanobi, I also dont understand the prosecution ladies sometimes. They take their foot off the pressure pedal just when things are starting to get hot for the witnesses.

I can only hope they will not at the trial. Are they saving the drums for the main dance? Or are the defence lawyers giving their all, revealing their cards up front before the game starts hoping to dissuade other players from playing?

I am not a lawyer but what did the witnesses that Ruto & Sang called do to help their case...from Morei to Bishop Kosgey they all seemed to build or even help the prosecutor in some way.

Take bishop for instance his testimony was more injurious esp. when he asked for a chance to say 'something'.

Morei ended up confirming the 4 meetings although he clarified they were public and political. raising the question why did ruto not call a kikuyu/Kisii neighbor to affirm Moreis testimony.

chepkwony linked Ruto with Koech (UDM debacle)

I think Kosgey(The MP)might walk just because of his well thought out strategy.

I think the allegations by LMO were that some organisations funded the PEV crimes. The Bishop was clarifying that his organisation was not involved in any way to funding these crimes, etc. I guess its a way of discrediting the prosecution's claims. Like for instance if Kass was used to incite violence, yet it was heard by millions across the region/country, etc.
I think that's what they are trying to do. The defence is trying to eliminate links between the suspects and these organisations that they supposedly used to influence the PEV.
