There is high competition in the communication sector and it will take time before people can really get to grips about what is going on. So until the mobile wars stabilize, there is going to be to much speculation on internet/data services, voice services etc. Access Kenya is no longer a speculative share - buy it for the long term. Also we are in a bear mkt, couple of stocks are trading below IPO prices. Access maybe the worst performer but don't right it off
Do it today! Tomorrow is promise to no-one.

This is a dead company. It has already been murdered by Safaricom. Whoever will buy Access shares will be burning their fingers. This is my advice.

The day Safaricom or Airtel announces to buy a stake in access or completely buy out Access is when the price will rise. Any one of them should it quickly especially Safaricom as they even have 4.5B free cashflow.

The last 3-4 years have really been disappointing for most of the stocks at the NSE that only 3 years ago showed really great potential!
This Access stock is one such case, really disappointing, from making poor decisions to not reading the market to factors beyond their control - fierce competition. These Somen guys really have some explaining to do! Then, it was at Kshs.34, exactly 3 years after, it is almost 5 times lower!
