In spite of the good work the guy has done, the board does not want him.You and I are the biggest beneficiaries of Njoroge's work having forced Safcon to lower voice charges from illegal and unconsiderate ksh 8 bob to current charges.

Could there be political hand and especially from the perceived dominant players.

Who is the communications Minister? He could be looking for his tribesman. Remember the Kosgey/Koskei saga at the Kenya Bureau of Standards?

starts with the Board chairman Philip okundi who wrote to the minister advising that Charles Njoroge had dismal perfomance last year (60%) and the contract should not be renewed.

i doubt that guy has a clear road map of where the telecom industry should be in 5-10-20 years going by his obsession with his myopic subjects like tariff wars on voice.

There is repositioning because of 2012 as some people who have acquired wealth illegally dont know what is going to happen. The talk of fighting impunity scares them stiff and we will see a shift of alliances from now onwards.
