@all

Longtime guys,

Just observed how some Journalists are Messing with Figures and Turning Mainstream READS like NATION into Gutter !

This Kamuzu banda says that 1 million Cans of Beer were Gulped during the 3 days Safari 7 Fete over the weekend i.e 330 Million Litres !

A can has a Capacity of 330ml,so that means 330m/.330 liters= 1,000,000,000 Cans!

What!!! 1 Billion Cans of Beer in 3days???..33 million Adults would have taken 33 Cans of Beer .in 3 days..thats all crap.Just Cant add up the Maths..

Kamuzu banda should stick to telling us about the Latest Disco Joints and Where

the likes of Nyadundo and Mike Rua are Throwing Nyama Choma parties..Leave

Mathematis kando kabisa..Bure sana !

M'c Kende Siafu !

I know last year Safari Sevens about 52,000 empty cans were collected which would add up to about 15,600litres consumed. Where did you get 330m litres??? Not possible!

The writer of that story has no sence of numbers. 330 Million liters is an embarrasing error.

On another note think of it 1M cans means that each and every person who stepped into Impala Club downed 17 cans of beer assuming 20,000 people attended on each of the 3 days. Also saw in a separate story some girls were arrested and were in court yesterday charged with smoking bhang at the safari sevens.

Like the other goon who wrote in the Nation that a tot of Johnnie Walker Blue will cost Ksh 5,000. A tot is 30ml,and a bottle is 1,000ml,so a bottle has 33 tots. If a bottle costs ksh 25,000,it follows that a tot will be Ksh 750. Sasa Ksh 5,000 inatoka wapi?

@GG

It could get there by the way... in the 5 star hotels and top market restaurants it is said that when the bottle was costing 15k,a tot of the same was going for 3k..... So if the increase in price for the bottle is in the range of 70-75%,he could have used the same to arrive at the 5k a tot - the margin for these hotels will remain constant.

Some deals are like glass. Sometimes it's better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together.
