Wow... far higher than I expected... I expect to see lots of large 'foreign' shareholders... Good for KCB but I expect lots of Sellers as well... I have better places/shares to invest my money in... Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

None of the other banks are standing still... especially not Equity Bank which has captured the 'low end' of the market... Then the 'high end or Corporates' are catered for by Barclays, SCBK, Citibank, etc... And the middle market has NIC, I&M, DTBK, Prime... So can KCB compete in all 3 segments? So can KCB compete in all 3 segments? Oh yes they can because they'll soon be untouchble in the regional market... Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 4:16

I&M + NIC are in Tanzania... Equity is in in Ug & S.Sudan... Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

And whats more is that its subsidiaries had broken even by end of H1 2010 while equity's are still in losses... I'm treating KCB like a three year bond that yields 5.5% p.a plus capital gains... Do you still believe it was a correction? Look at today's demand vis a vis supply. We are headed the 20s
