Wolololo, perhaps a lesson on how to treat the Wazua madhouse in future! Me I was running, throwing stones from the front line, then selling my shares and shaking the dust off my feet.

My reasons stand but good stuff KCB, for ignoring the criticism and speaking to the market at large. Makes me wonder whether our posts here can really really affect the outcome in the normal market?

Just wondering - what's the meaning of the public not being interested in KCB at 17? does it mean they want to buy it at 23?

Just wondering ? ? ?

. . . and i just checked the charts for the period after 2008 rights - the highest the stock ever did was 24 - the rights were 25 bob . . .

I hope KCB management can surprise its patient shareholders. I have a lot at stake here having gone massive at the rights issue plus planning to average down in case the price tumbles. If they can start by lowering base rate and shock the mortgage market that would be great.

I'm taking profits in many of my counters preparing to increase my simba holdings... Now the wait begins because this counter will have its day...

Sad Hope you got well what Mr Muthoka Said in the statement... Am afraid they may be forced to retain the earnings. Hope you get what I mean by that...NO DIVIDEND.

underweight, is there still signficant tension in Darfur? On KCB, seems like investors may have to contend with capital gains only going by the chairman's statement

Shame on you @ Youcan'tstopusnow There is NO significant tension although the rebel group leader never seem to agree on anything.....ever changing goal posts.... On KCB whoever is in for dividend think twice. Be contended with capital gain!!

@underweight i only wish you knew How wrong you are....

KCB is projecting a 6billion full year PAT which they will attain basing on half year results...

If they pay a 1bob dividend that will leave 2.9billion in retained earnings which is more than the left over from the rights
