The share pricd is goin down b'coz there's a correction on the price . Period.

That was not a correction but a reaction. Demand at anything over 18.5 for KCB will be huge and so we expect it to move up

If its a reaction coz of the rights it shld b goin up coz the rights were a 'success' . Its a correction. And NEVER argue w/ the market. As a matter of fact i expectd the correction.

deal, share back to 18.75. Even with the additional shares, it is unlikely to go below 17. People said the same thing about Equity ''3.7 billion shares is HUGE. All that supply. I will definitely pick up some at below 10''. Well, we all know what happened next. Equity has returned 100% since. Those who were making those statements are today ''hoping'' to pick up some Equity at below 23 bob during the ''correction''. It's all just a vicious cycle of missed opportunities

When and where are they going to announce the subscription rate? Or will they send a copy to NSE and the press?

That is a fact. I do not regret picking up additional rights. This lion will roar and some of patient enough will be holding the stock at 30 next year with 1 bob dividend. I have a target of 100,000 KCB and now halfway

The rights were 82.56% subscribed. Let the scrabble for the lion begin. If you had asked for additional rights, you will receive all you requested. What are the consequences?

Here are some interesting facts (not exactly related to share trade or pricing unfortunately) that have come to fruition as a result of KCB raising 12.45 billion in equity.

KCB is the largest bank by capitalization, assets, and deposits.
KCB now has 30 billion in cash reserves (considering the reserve ratio is 4.5%)
KCB now has 30 billion in capital (can support at least 3 years of growth)
KCB can (theoretically) expand loans by 70% or 100 billion, no sweat.
KCB can (theoretically) expand deposits by 50% or 100 billion, no sweat.

This is a rare privilege not many bankers enjoy, but will the management mess it up with inefficiencies and lack of innovation?
