It is shameful for them to come here expecting to cover violent scenes instead of the peaceful voting process.

Shame on the violence-hungry western media. Let them be shamed never to come back even in 2012.

Looking at it differently....
..the foreign media, anticipating chaos, came in large numbers, spent money ( ".... had booked their rooms upto December.")

returned to their cold countries with nothing to report.... hence Kenya is safe...
more tourism...
more investment etc
