I believe our God is a faithful God and Kenyans should not lose hope despite all the tribulations we are going through. It is becoming unbearable to be a kenyan no wonder someone was suggesting we get out. What about with our selfish leaders who cant pay taxes,A ** who support a demostration against a govt he is part of and not forgetting poverty among people. But despite of all this God never forsakes his people what Kenyans need to do is pray without ceasing and God will deliver our beloved country. Lets never lose hope Turn your clutter into cash! Well said we need a lot of prayers for our beloved country.
Your greatest glory is not in never failing,but in rising every time you fail. Persistence means taking pains to overcome every obstacle,to do all that's necessary to reach your goal.

@Sheri
You are right,this is the time we need to go back to God.When we have reached a dead end,He is the only one who can deliver us.The God of the Impossibles.May he soften the hearts of our dear brothers and sisters to turn to Him,to worship Him and truth and in spirit and He,God will surely deliver us.
Without Holiness no man shall see God.Dear God,mould me to be a vessel of honour at this End times,to remain Obedient to your Word in all situations.Amen!

I have realized that SK guys don't have much to say when it comes to posts on God. I believe what you are saying is true. That we should turn to God to guide and steer this country in the right direction. We need to repent of our sins and start with our own selves as the elements of change. The Bible tells us not to be anxious about anything instead seek first the kingdom of God. Also we give thanks in everything because all things,good and bad,work for those who love the Lord. As long as we work on ourselves and trust God then this country will go a long way. God promise... that he will never forsake his pple. Prayers work...... @ All anytime you say a little prayer (even if for your meal) just ask God to help our country.
Bother not about yesterday's mistake,try to correct it today and avoid it tomorrow.

@sheri,its good you have changed the small g to a capital G because our God is a big God,bigger than our problems. He does not sleep or slumber and He is watching over us. Btw what happened to SK prayer day I will praise thee,O Lord my God,with all my heart: And I will glorify thy name forever more. Psalms 86:12 If you have only one smile in you, give it to the people you love - Maya Angelou

Sure! God is with us all the Time. We need Him in every move we make. We should pray for Him to Change our lives and the actions of kenyan leaders.
I believe that He'll never leave us.
Amen

What makes people shy away from the church is the mushrooming of 'fake' churches,we need to pray more about kenyans being truthful,than us looking for business even in the name of God. 'Do all the good you can,by all the means you can,in all the ways you can, in all the places you can,to all the people you can,as long as ever you can'. Let's keep up the spirit,for God is Lord,the Owner.Everything is His,we are mere users.I have read some comments made below by faithfuls.I need you[if you got any] to share with me,what it takes God to intervene,on a national/international level,for the last 2,000 years.What it takes Him?that's what i want you to share.I believe the rise of USA over Germans/Russians to be the work of God,Divine intervention.[Just picture either of the two ruling the world,where would the black man be?] Having said that,big part of the developed world have not been righteous in anyway[slave trade,colonization,greenhouses,trade barriers etc],yet throughout history,they continue to get better and better.Some,like where i am,the Christians are less than 20% with 30-40% non-believers,people who believe in themselves,their mortal self,yet they continue to prosper,get better,and to some extend,getting more sinful.In Kenya,where majority of the population are Christians,millions are starving,taps are dry and no one can see coz it's dark,thanx to global warming.How much of that,did a guy in Turkana with all his herd dead,contribute? Did the developed world pray longer or harder or more devotedly than Kenyans?I don't think so. My wish is to know what it takes God to intervene because looking at the first world,i see them causing more havoc than good,yet they remain up there and innocent herdsmen/women and small-time farmers suffer gruesomely.A bunch of guys in the UK have it all to the extend of spending it on adverts denying God/gods existence.Everything about God interests me,i would love to know more.Praise Him for He owns those fingers[read His cow,rice,maize,milk ect].Amen when i see my purple, you see it not!
