KQ does Financial numbers every 6 months... Next announcement for 1H 2010-11 is on 5 Nov 2010

Thanks. A guru like you should be able decode the numbers.

So this is like an investor briefing. With such material info I should have expected KQ to be suspended from trading, or the results were released last evening?

No idea... It is not on NSE website nor on KQ's website... I got it from Bloomberg...

It is not easy to decode anything coz we don't know of the flights are profitable...

The GOOD news is that the Passenger Load Factors [How full are the planes] is UP substantially on many routes...

Also the capacity has not increased but passengers have in a season (1Q Apr-Jun) which is traditionally the weakest!

The strongest is Jul-Sep (2Q) but the Referendum will cause some slowdown... I hope for a violence-free post-referendum period!!!

Many thanks for useful info. I see potential upside on KQ share, so I will keep a few for a while.

Did you ever participate in the CiC private placement?

No. I was attuned to Co-op movements... I understand CIC has done quite well...

Yeah, but the supply of shares remains low. They should give a bonus to increase supply

just seen the numbers impressive indeed...what is worth noting is 16% increase in cargo and Europe passenger no's...so the Ash didnt do much damage...i flew KQ to Joburg on Wednesday and it was full...must say Southern Africa is doing well...in btwn what suspension is @qw talking about? sorry i'm not in Kenya...
