Hello good people.

Is there anyone out there with info on the legal or other requirements when one is starting a small college in Kenya but not in Nairobi?

Please help.

The intention is to offer computer studies.

I once overheard someone at the register of company say that one has to get approvals from the ministry of education first before he can open/register for a learning institution at the registrar/sheria house .

Lest this thread drops off; I'd also like to know...
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

Apart from buying and selling human brains, I also do some corporate training. This doesn't require any special license, except City Council - though it helps a little to have DIT and PTAK (min. of labour).

For a college, I think one needs to get license from Min of Educ and the C.H.E.
