How does a supposedly stable stock like Barclays exhibit such volatility? Any clues out there?

It rose because of the supposed impact of the sale of its custody business. O/wise the s-are is in the BK-category. The Governor of Nyeri - 2017

@Waithaka..Thanks. I am still hopeful that it remains stable as I think it is one of the counters that reflect the mood of the market. Now watching KPLC,BAT also to see how they move.
