The obsession with use of apostrophes irritates me.This is not just in Kenya but even in books from other countries considered to be better in English

Thus you will find

No matatu's beyond this point.Sad

My English teachers taught me that the apostrophe shows something belongs to something/someone else.

Or were they wrong?Sad
