Oooops!!! I jumped the gun!! Kumbe nilipata za Coop nikadhani ni za BAT!!! All the same, thanks in advance smokers!!! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

I am pumping everything (dividends and free cash) into KCB!! The only stock I am currently buying. Upto December or March next year. I am betting big on KCB!! After that I seat pretty then we talk in a couple of years when subsidiaries start sending a huge portion of their profits to the group after the growth phase. Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

My favourite hold period is "forever"!!! Kaende Kaende. Hata Equity was paying us < 1/= dividends just the other day!! Time in the market!!! Never count on making a good sale. KCB has ambitions to enter Ethiopia through an acquisition which will not be cheap I am extremely fine with that. As a long term investor, I love growth!! So long as investments are well thought out I want the companies I am invested in to grow and allocate capital to the same. I can live with lower dividends short term so long as the profits are being reinvested to bring in even more profits in future. Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

And the issue of dividends is very hot and even Paul Russo has spoken on it in several interviews. I believe the KCB Board will try to balance growth and dividends moving forward. Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
