Half year results due out end of February will be interesting to see because of the sale of carbon credits. Wealth is built through a relatively simple equation Wealth=Income + Investments - Lifestyle

Will be interesting, Carbon credits in the short term, kenya power's improving liquidity is a plus too (ability to clear past dues and more prompt payment). further down the Olkaria SEZ, and the Marsabit Wind power project in the long term. Completion of regional power pool/networks is also a positive, it expands possible buyers beyond Kenya power. Govt can always mess things up but looks a good deal right now.

All these positives and yet trading at a dividend yield of 18.7%! One of the stocks to watch in 2025. Happy Hunting. x handle: @stocksmaster79

Not sure if the people who participated in the last rights have broken even. Also, Kenya power does not treat them right compared with the IPPs despite producing the bulk of the supply. I would want to own more but alert not to end up in a value trap. Wish they did another PIBO

Kenya is a great net importer of power. Little chance,Kengen will benefit from the regional power pool Wealth is built through a relatively simple equation Wealth=Income + Investments - Lifestyle

solid performance but why do they like keeping so much money instead of giving it back to the shareholders

They have many multi billion projects lined up, that money is even not close to enough. my fear of holding kengen long term if right issue, they can can come up with right issue when we least expect to fund these projects There are only two emotions in the stock market, fear and hope. The problem is, you hope when you should fear and fear when you should hope

The geothermal power projects they intend to undertake will be mostly debt funded by JICA. Wealth is built through a relatively simple equation Wealth=Income + Investments - Lifestyle
