Yes but I do not see KPLC as an investment pick until the rot is cleared all the way from the top.

Kenya Power has posted a Sh3.50 billion net profit for the full year ended June 30, a 134 per cent growth from Sh1.49 billion posted last year.

Would have been much lower were it not for the massive upsurge in Other Income. (H1 2.99bn vs h2 10.3bn)

Revenue was lower in H2 vs H1 by 10bn while costs were up by 4bn in H2 vs H1. GP in H2 was slightly less than half as compared to H1 (H1 28.3bn vs H2 13.8bn).

Effects of the tariff cut in H2.
