Absa Group has appointed Arrie Rautenbach, the current Chief Executive of the Group’s retail and business banking unit as the CEO effective immediately.
Interim CEO Jason Quinn will resume his position as Group Financial Director with immediate effect.
Arrie has more than 25 years of banking experience and he previously served as the Group’s Chief Risk Officer, providing executive leadership for the Group Separation Programme and Group Strategy Office.
