Stanbic Bank's BS dropped huge (25bn) from June (320bn) to Sep (295bn).
I&M Holdings increased from 358 to 399bn (Group)
but I&M Bank KE (Group) is at 319bn for Sep 2021 with PBY of 6.6bn.

DTB's balance sheet > I&M but the RoE is very poor.

Stanbic KE has the best ROE and Dividend Payout.
I&M probably took a hit in UG with Orient. TZ is doing poorly vs RW.
DTB is just awful.

It's better to have an Owner-Manager who has skin in the game. Not all will succeed but at least their fortunes are tied in with shareholders.

Respect to I&M. Its PBT is higher than Stanbic and DTB which have larger balance sheets.

Stanbic has a larger balance sheet than I&M Liar Liar

I think that’s the same thing as what mkongwe @VVS is saying

The emoji after the word I&M is that's a lie/liar liar

@ericsson ako na butthurt mob. Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly
She could have just provided specifics. Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

DTB wako on another league,no concern for shareholders and the MD ako comfortable.
She has been there for more than 20 years and doesn't feature in shareholders register
The DTB MD is a shareholder but not on the level of Mwangi in Equity. The rest of DTB's directors have insignificant shares.

I&M's Shahs (2-3 directors) have a lot of shares in I&M

Remember Popat? it’s a two edged sword
Who?

It's better to have an Owner-Manager who has skin in the game. Not all will succeed but at least their fortunes are tied in with shareholders.

Oigara can walk away. As can Gachora.
Mwangi would lose a lot more.

Sometimes you say the truth

Look at KQ.
Titus, Mbuvi, Allan... ZERO skin the game.

Paunrana went down with the ship.

Kirubi's fortunes tied to Centum. Mworia has almost 1% of Centum so he is trying to get it performing.

I like JM of Equity. His salary was the same or lower than many CEOs of mid-tier banks but he will make a huge bonus when other shareholders do well.

Gachora of NCBA vs Mwangi of Equity. Look at the compensation.
