Asante. Though as most here already know, my stocks constitute a maximum of 10% of my overal investment portfolio at any given time. Looking to set it to 5% max, with 95% in real estate

This is quite disturbing, the bank is on a recovery path , with interest rate abolished and now kenya and the world normalizing with covid the only way is up. I expect by next year the bank to be fully in profitability and after the elections the share to recover towards 10. They have also managed to pay most of their debts. Who is advising britam?? If britam gets into transaction as we are currently them and us shareholders won't get real value for our holding - the "mungas" of equity can easily do what they did to MauritiusSad

https://www.businessdailyafrica.com/bd/corporate/technology/new-hf-group-e-platform-offers-smes-sh10m-in-bidding-bonds-3590014
Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) participating in public tenders can now get real-time unsecured bid bonds of up to Sh10 million via a web-based platform launched by HF Group. The listed lender has said the online-based solution dubbed HF Whizz Bid Bonds will ease applications for the bid bonds, increasing SMEs’ chances of winning tenders.

A bid bond is issued by the supplier or service provider to the project owner as a guarantee that they will undertake the contract once awarded. It is part of the documentation required when one is submitting a bid. HF will guarantee the project owner or contracting authority that in the event the bidder wins the tender, they will meet the requirements.

The current share price of HF Group Limited (HFCK) is KES 4.24. HFCK closed its last trading day (Wednesday, November 10, 2021) at 4.24 KES per share on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), recording a 1.7% gain over its previous closing price of 4.17 KES. HF began the year with a share price of 3.32 KES and has since gained 27.7% on that price valuation, ranking it fifth on the NSE in terms of year-to-date performance. Shareholders can be optimistic about HFCK knowing the stock has accrued 15% over the past four-week period—second best on NSE. KES 7 is not far fetched. Imagine a 100% gain. The pandemic is over

Im thinking it is a price correction to reflect fair value, considering turn around strategy of new CEO. The firm has on average not traded more than 10,000 per day over the last three years, meaning original shareholders are still within

What benefit does Equity get in buying HF?

No benefit in buying HF...............Equity Bank has some idle cash and has frozen dividends.

Equity is James Mwangi and James Mwangi is Equity.
James mwangi owns shares in Britam so he is bailing out his investment.
