The account management system here is completely broken and it's been that way for years now. Whenever this system tells you it has emailed you something, the emails are not being sent. Therefore when someone creates an account, the account management system tells them that a confirmation link has been sent to your email, but nothing has been sent. Also when you try to change an old password, the account management system says that it's sent a new password to your mail, but no mail is sent.
These failings lock people out from both new and old accounts, and that's why this forum has been dying for a while now. Admins, if you're still there, please fix this problem before the forum goes kaput kabisa. We can't just be on kina Kenyatalk tukiongea mavi huko, Kenyans also need a serious forum to congregate in!

Admin(s) killed it. Login issues, censorship...bla bla. "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The problem is you hope when you should fear & fear when you should hope: - Jesse Livermore .

KT is an insane asylum for unemployed totos under 25 to vent their displaced anger on each other online from dusk to dawn. It's the worst Kenyan forum in the history of Kenyan forums online bar none. Wazoo died mainly because, as I said before, we moved on to forums where all the action happens in real time (FB, Whatsapp, Telegram, Signal, the works). We need instant answers in real time. Not waiting three days for a response on a topic of interest. By then the OP has even forgotten what they had posted to begin with. RIP Wazoo. Age and family mellows us all over time

What really lacks here is empathy from the admin and forum leadership. I think whoever they are, they should admit it is time for a change.
When a popular site faces nagging technical issues, the least the users expect is an apology and an update on the cause of outage and a speedy resolution. I am not sure how the site is financed but it is due for a beef up and leadership.

KenyaTalk is dominated by guys who sound like they're 16-24. Almost every thread goes south. Could it be that lack of censorship encourages younger guys and new member registration? Wazua reached its zenith in the stock market boom and after(2006-2013). Most guys in other fora were in school. Could it also be that most of wazua has outgrown the excitement of such forums and prefer to spend their time golfing or with maitus huko Kamakis?

Wazua died with the invent of social media like twitter. They failed to invent and have maintained the archaic interface. It still has potential though and can learn a thing or two from Reddit Consistency is better than intensity

Wazua was hell during the 2007 elections, when it was stockskenya.com. That time it was more popular than Facebook and it was like the national meeting point of minds. The way I am

Hate them or love them, the brats on Ktalk have money to spend. They are very high-risk takers and I have therefore made some money from them in two ways: 1. Affiliate referrals for trading in Bitcoin and other cryptos. 2. Currently posting erotic "sweetened" adverts. Sample: https://www.kenyatalk.co...-copy-like-this.194342/

No sane wazuan can last more than 10mins huko Kenyan talk. That's a very shitty place. With kids running all over the place. Let's all agree most of us joined wazua in our late 20s and now we are heading to 40. We have seen all the excitement in investment and politics. Now we are a bit slow. I think we should adopt. Let's move slowly. Wazua is not dead Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

The Germans have a saying that goes: “Ruuru rutari njau no kuhuka ruhukaga” (A herd without calves has no future)”. That is wazua's problem because the herd has become old and tired. Proverbs 13:11 Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.
