There is strong optimism that by 2022 God willing the economies will gradually recover .

did tumbilii Govt raid KenGen's 'idle' cash while raiding cash-rich parastatals for budget money?..that and delayed payment by KPLC would mean that KenGen has no real cash to pay dividends.

Tumbili didn't raid KENGEN's idle cash.Listed parastatals were unaffected.
Payment by kplc to kengen aren't that bad,KPLC was told to give first priority in power purchase payments to Kengen

This year the interim was paid in April. If they pay again before year end, they will have paid two interims and one final in 2021.

There was no interim dividend paid by KENGEN.
Read the notices well.
April was book closure for dividend for FY2019/2020.
The dividend was paid in July.
The dividend for 2018/2019 payment date was in December 2020.
The delay in payment of the two dividends was due to the vacancy in the office of auditor general.

The "unlisted" 100% owned GoK entities were raided eg KPA and KAA.

KenyaRe, KenGen were left alone though I would not mind a dividend payout that gives GoK cash while also benefitting the rest of us.

Carbacid PLC is yet to announce their full year financial results. They have always announced a dividend and the same is expected this year.
