SCBK dividend return to shareholders is relatively higher than COOP.

This is how from dividend payout ratio:-

STANCHART KENYA
EPS = 13.95
DPS = 10.50

Div payout ratio = 10.50/13.95* 100
= 75.27%

COOP BANK KENYA
EPS= 1.57
DPS= 1.00
Div payout ratio = 1/1.57*100
= 63.69%


So in absolute terms based on their FY 2020 earnings , SCBK returned higher dividend to shareholders , the highest in the banking sector and likely the second highest in NSE after BAT.
