KCB set to acquire Atlas Mara banking business in Rwanda and Tanzania

BPR looked like a good bank, I wonder why Equity didn't close on that one. Anyway, as long as KCB arent getting a shell of a bank.

KCB will pay $32mn for the shares in the Rwanda bank and $8mn to fully acquire ABC Tanzania.
Once completed, it will double KCB market share in Rwanda and catapult it to the number 2 bank position from number 6.

The Tanzania acquisition will lift KCB into the top 10 from number 13 currently

If all goes on well, that is (if KCB did their due diligence so as not to buy dead companies) then there is a long term value post covid to unlock in KCB.

KCB will hit the proverbial target of 60 bob in 2023.

They seem to be managing NBK acquisition very well.I actually thought
they bought a carcass, they proved me wrong .
