So BABA meet some Bonoko Elders? Anything is possible this season.

Kikuyus know that they don't have council of elders or kings... Don't even assume his/her father has influence on how they will vote - talk to each Kikuyu on their own.

Very true. Agikuyu never had centralized leadership.

The lack of centralized leadership is more informed by the socio-political circumstances that prevailed at that time. Kikuyus had been ass whooped by the pastoralists Galla and Maasai tribes forcing them into a defensive posture in the ridges and forests of the highlands.

Kikuyu society was in a state of flux and lacked territorial stability which hindered the development of more sophisticated political organization with a bureaucracy like the Baganda. The constant search for new land which could be protected is what brought about the loose organization where people lived ridge to ridge and there was not much need for centralized leadership.

But as the kikuyu society has become more sophisticated the need for centralized leadership emerged to negotiate with other tribes for peaceful settlement in the Rift valley and political stability in urban areas with Western/Luo Nyanza. More or less Uhuru is acting like the first King of the Kikuyu. In 2022 kikuyus will hand over power to people who will safeguard the varied interests in urban areas and rift valley.

Quite an interesting perspective. Sounds more like the Kikuyus were so much engaged in tiling the land in the ridges and forests and had little time left to gather at "mungetho".

why are people still bothered about this fella.

We have another 2 years to go before it's relevant.

For now Uhuru is our problem. Hii Hujuma namba we have to discuss.

What can we discuss after the cash has already reached it's destination? Unless we review the digital driving licence cash before it's airlifted.

But again, what to do after the review/discussion?

We are we so in love with quick fixes and making solutions to past problems yet they may not necessarily be our problems in future.
The problem we have is not under representation but poor representation and the biggest challenge to devolution is not lack of funds but theft and wastage.

Just because 1 person cannot accept defeat. The 2007 fix was to add a prime minister and so many ministerial positions such that in 2013 the wage bill was unsustainable. For how long will Kenya suffer?

His speech today was on point. He has confirmed that he doesn't want a contest between poor and rich. Looks like he listened to Baba wise words the proletariat revolution will not be led by the bourgeoisie.

Today he asked the questions right in front of them all. This is the boldness we need to see in our leaders.
Not the nonsense of cowering to someone ati because he is the president.
