.....and to imagine that this stock was once referred to as a blue-chip, unbelievable.

It's still a constituent of the NSE 20 share index

Standard Group Market Cap 2.04B, NMG Market Cap 1.70B.

Why is SGL fairing better in the NSE yet they are in the same field?

Conversely, why was NMG always fairing much much better than SGL yet they have always been in the same sector? Therein lies your answer.

Closed at 9.06 today. wtf is happening? Anyone with inside information?

Quite devastating. This stock now reminds me of KQ which I once saw trading at 136/= per share.

Whoa! Are they still paying dividends? This share raced down past SGL and is now trading at almost a third of it. If the market is a discounting mechanism, then there is something horrendously wrong with this one. The collapse is eerily reminiscent of ARM. Hell of a beating.
The main purpose of the stock market is to make fools of as many people as possible.

Current price has factored the bad news. Price likely to hold for now, I don't expect a (sharp) drop from last week.

Current spot price 18.50

Four weeks ago traded at 9.00

Over 100% gain for some fortunate traders.

Nice V-shaped recovery.

Still insisting that NMG was massively oversold by panicking investors. It remains undervalued.

For those who entered at 110 like me I think it has been very hard. Many might have panicked sale. But I'm staying put with my abp now being 49 after some buys.

Nonsense. I do not know what NMG's results will be but using your poor logic, Apple and Berkshire which have share buyback programs in place for 2-3 years should have announced poor results.
Have you seen Apple's results since 2018?
