Does that mean that as soon as NSSF is done with the accumulation the share price is likely to tank.

Supply reduces causing a shortage and thus pushing up the price.
NB;market can be irrational and we see price drops

But it will start with reduced demand which might lower the price in the interim.

Reduced supply will just act to stabilise the price (in future). You cannot speak of real stability in this COVID period.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

My exact thoughts. The effects of reduced demand will outweigh that of available number of shares due to the purchase by NSSF. Whatever number of shares NSSF will purchase shall be insignificant vis-a-vis the number of total issued shares.

KCB is the biggest shareholder of Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company with a 21%.
Majority of deposits of Kenya Mortgage Refinance company are at KCB giving the bank cheap money.
There is a $250mn line of credit KMRC is to receive from world bank for lending towards affordable housing.

Yes it's justified.KCB put more cash into Loan Loss provisions. This ate into their profit margin.
Investors therefore understood that this was not a change in fundamentals of the company. But just a temporary response to the covid 19 pandemic.
