Hi Guys, For income investors 2021 will be a notorious bad year due to capital preservation by most counters occasioned by covid. There is strong optimism that by 2022 God willing the economies will gradually recover . EABL Q1 is a disaster,bars have been closed restricting alcohol consumption. REIT-ICEALION may decide to buyout minority shareholders. Wealth is built through a relatively simple equation

@Young safaricom DPS let's wait for half year results first. Foreign investors need dividends to justify their investment in this market, given the regulatory and exchange risks. In light of this, in my view, firms with a significant foreign shareholding like ABSA, SCBK, STANBIC, EABL and SAFCOM will most likely still pay dividends.

Why the rise in EABL counter when it is well known they are worst hit by covid 19 restrictions? Their projected turnover will be extremely low hence the profit. The wazua spirit as members is to educate and inform and learn from others within the limit of what we know in any chosen area irrespective of our differences in tribes, nationalities, etc. .
