Don't forget we do have some dummies here on wazua who will still vote for him.

Water is basic human need. This project is very useful, it will drastically reduce diseases and restore human dignity to all the beneficially as well as saving that much needed extra coin to the residents.

Better still, I hear it did not cost Billions of dollars !.

As far as i know the drilling and supply of has water has been undertaken by NMS, hiyo ingine ni siasa.

What i know about Sonko and water is the water tankers under Sonko Rescue team. smile

And yes the mapping can be done even in 1 weeksmile, this is a General/Soldier leading the team.

Maybe the mapping and testing was even done during Mayor Margeret Wambui Kenyatta's time!

Governor Mike Sonko's administration has defied a national government order that bars the drilling of boreholes in Nairobi.

Junior officers at City hall told the Star that the county's top hierarchy had not given them any directive to stop the drilling.

The governor also failed to respond to our calls.

City residents, environmentalists, and the business community believe that Water CS Simon Chelugui's directive to stop the drilling of water in Nairobi was a positive development to protect the aquifer and other businesses in Nairobi.

This is/was drilling by private individuals in private premises that they eventually sold to local residents. Leta planning of drilling ya County 47 under Sonko.

Ati no slums in 1976?! There were slums even in 1960s.
One of the challenges of Jomo's government was to evict people from Gikomba and Kaburini(Eastleigh) slums in late 1960s!
