Anybody had dealings with or bought a house from Tamarind Properties?

Has anyone purchased a house from Tamarind Properties? Anyone had dealings such as with making a deposit on a proposed phase e.g. Tamarind Meadows Phase II and what was the outcome? Would appreciate any feedback on this matter. Thanks

Harun Mwau now sucked into the controversy. Claiming the land and having "transferred" the same from one of his companies to another (still of his) but the second company never had a KRA PIN until six years after the land was transferred to it. He has even been offered land elsewhere and "refused". Ndrama indeed! >>>RINK<<<

Imagine you have been servicing a 20yr mortgage and now this happens. I saw in yesterdays daily nation that the demolition has been suspended pending appeal. However the owner of the land wants the illegal structures removed from his land.

What really is happening to real estate in Kenya? Why are there more sob stories than successes? What’s the underlying issue? What’s the unifying factor here?
For investors as a whole, returns decrease as motion increases ~ WB

My guess. Compromised value systems. Happiness and success being equated to accumulation of material stuff. Acquiring material stuff at any cost and whatever means necessary.

However, all is not lost and I believe a real estate revolution in Kenya is afoot.
There is opportunity for entrepreneurs who will solve the affordability problem in real estate. The solution has to be in line with our "kadogo" economy.

Success stories are never shared with as much enthusiasm as the sob stories.

A good story is normal, sad stories make the news
