Brief history: I first learned about and used BTC in 2016. However, I didn't bother trading it. I joined the crypto market in January 2018, just in time to capture the 85% capitulation of the entire market in the next year or so. Since January 2018, I have tried learning about crypto trading in a standoffish manner. I believe that this is the ideal time to start the big experiment.
Disclaimer: I am not a professional trader and there is a decent chance that this experiment will backfire badly. Therefore, I intend to risk money that I can afford to lose.
Funds: As usual, I will not disclose the real figures. However, for calculation purposes, I will use $1,000.
Strategy: Trend following/momentum.
Duration: 1st June 2020 - 31st Dec 2020
Objective: To double the $1,000.

Expectation: It will be a hell-raising journey. I expect drawdowns which may exceed 50% on some coins but an equally big upside as well.

Some good money to be made here. I did something similar last year. Buying into volatile coins and looking for gains of at least 10%. Would buy and sell within a week.

Sold SNT at $0.026 yesterday. That's a 7.1% loss.

LEND is at $0.088. That's a 46.7% gain.

I am net up about 9.9% i.e $99 profit based on the hypothetical $1000 capital.

Sold LEND at $0.117 i.e 95% profit.

Total profit = 21.9% in 1 month. Half of the money (Hypothetical $500) was never risked.

Therefore, the true ROI is 43.8% in one month.

I intend to continue trading crypto going forward but I won't post any more of my trades. Happy Hunting
