It has been so hard to impeach Governors so I doubt we will see a president impeached in our lifetime.
The current crop of politicians can be bought for a pittance.

(c) for gross misconduct.

That's just the Ruto wing. Even if it doesn't completely run its cause it can be an excellent wake up call and a means of running time down. On the ground, Kenyans are tired no bills are being passed just tussling. 2020 is over, Corona has taken over this year, 2021 is a campaign year UK's time is up too bad for him, even if he left today there would be no issue.

Kenyans on the ground are also very gullible.
They just need a buzz on the need to protect uthamaki.

Bring the impeachment motion 'we'smile defeat it chapchap we move on.

ODM would gladly end this government's reign trust me.

True but why should they?
Remember Mt Kenya voters didn't vote for UMK
They voted against Kimundu. ODM is being cleansed ,so no need of rocking the boat.

Anything to get the country to the ballot is welcome for them. Who knows they will still be living in 2022?

Those are wild dreams, it wont happen. Remember they view Ruto as stubborn na yeye 'hijiskia'.

By the way since 2013, UMK has shown reconciliation here and there, Ruto has not.

Wait for removal of Deputy Speaker debate tomorrow (disclaimer - i don't support what they are doing).

Reconcile for beating someone in an election? How many poles will one receive?

Kindiki is ready to go. He has already stated he's not begging anyone. Lakini slice that Meru(Tharaka Nithi) Vote out.

Next its the National Assembly, here the target is Linturi (Tigania, Laare, Igembe) That is 3/4 of Meru vote.

To quote Moses Kuria, "wakimwaga unga, tunamwaga kitoweo"

You know, there's nothing UK can do to Ruto. I stated before when Rollout suggested that UK should fire Ruto...He stuck with him so its either he makes it work or throws the baby with the bath water...at the end of it all he's going home Ruto still has a chance to be President and honestly this whole rift is catapulting him there.

Who's got anything to lose?

You are getting ahead of yourself boss, we are discussion impeachment whereas all that you have written up here has little to do with it.

Our MPs wont impeach the president because of selfishness among the political players in Kenya. I can assure you it wont happen, those are imaginations of a few Ruto followers.

Jubilee will also recall all nominated MPs on their side if they participate in such a stunt.

No MP is unrecallable. All the cards are on the table and there's no monopoly on who's holding them. In short am just letting you know nothing is an impossibility

Anyway Ruto MPs are all talk, with no action. They will just cry foul mostly blaming Raila whereas they are being finywad from within.

UMK wont be impeached, those are cheap talk. It wont happen.

What happened to @murchr? Prior to 2018 he made the right calls. I didn't agree with some of them but his analysis was right on the money.
He seems to have lost his way somewhat! Needs to make a quick U turn.

UMK's regime failure means nothing to him as an individual vis a vis the number of Kenyans he has left poor and/or worse than he found them. Plus the economy's poor performance hurts more than his legacy. So it doesnt matter what happens to him, it is we the people on the chopping board.

UMK's failure was obvious to some of us since 2002, na ni hayo tu.

I am not worried about the present because the damage is already done.
During the KANU era,we had hope in the opposition that had people like Kibaki,RAO,Wamalwa etc
In contrast, the choices now are Gideon, Ruto,Mdvd and Watermelon. There is no hope,no future for our beloved country.

Tried and tested.

His Excellency Kibutha Kibwana.
His Excellency Alfred Mutua.
Her Excellency Charity Ngiru.
Hon. Muhisa Kitui.
His Excellency Oparanya.

I could go on all day.

Supposing DP Ruto decided to pick any one of the above and declared him or her tosha, what would your opinion change?

As the "Wanjinga Nyinyi" Kid eloquently pointed out, it is no longer about the candidates but it boils down to the voters collectively.

If you, and your generation, can only see Gideon, Ruto, Mdvd, and Watermelon, then "Houston, we have a problem."

Just a thought. Just a thought.

To answer your question, yes my opinion would change. But we know none of the leaders listed stand any chance. They represent change and those in power including WSR want to maintain status quo.
To become president in Kenya you need two things:
1. Numbers(Big tribe)
2.Money, lots of money

Kindiki out - Whah 54 + (2) vs 7, wapi impeachment motion for the President. Though what they have done is very sad and unacceptable.

Irungu Kangata's sycophancy and Lusaka's licking is at some crazy decibels.

Both sides had been whipped to support their parties' stand.

Only Kang'ata made a strong case. Everybody else was commiserating with Kindiki & praising him before saying they supported the motion to oust him.

Wasn't this obvious?

If they were to impeach the president now it would be perfect to run the clock down and waste everyone's time not necessarily to win.
