You do not become the country's ceo by fighting your boss. Even going to the extent of recruiting moses khuria to fight the boss in his bedroom in gatundu.

Kuria has only disagreed with the president on matters of the handshake only. But in matters development I know they are together. That is called democracy. Kuria has supported many bills brought in by the government to parliament. His vote in parliament is all that matters to the president. The other sideshows outside parliament are just entertainment for us the people.
We all agree that the president is in his final term. It's time for New political realignment. I see that raila is seeking uhurus endorsement which we are yet to hear it directly from him. we wish him all the best.

What would Moi have done if saitoti was moving around the whole country declaring himself the next president and fighting moi even in his bedroom in baringo? Would he have said that it is democracy? Also, every tribe has its leader and fighting the kikuyu leader is fighting the kikuyu nation.

There is a huge difference between the kikuyu leader and the kikuyu presidential candidate. The president is the latter. Kikuyu leadership is shared among wazees or elders. It's extremely difficult to herd kikuyus the same way babu herds wajaluo. Kikuyus as idividuals hold their own personal principles and nobody is supposed to trumple on them and it doesn't matter who you are.
In an elders meeting every man is the same depending on rank(I don't know which word to use but there are certain ranks one has to pass through) we admire and value wealth. But it is not a factor or you cannot use your wealth to step on other elders.

Even Michuki said that Uhuru is the kikuyu leader and anyone who wants to talk to kikuyus should go through him. The leader will show kikuyus which way to go in 2022.

First you should know the statement was directed to non kikuyus. He was not directing kikuyus to follow uhuru.
He(michiki) was also resonating a political opinion which was later adopted by most kikuyus.
If you can remember the "madimoni" saga where uhuru had been pressured to step aside for musalia. According to sources uhuru had succumbed to pressure only to surface later and re-declare his candidacy to the top seat. If he was the leader as you want to put it where was this pressure coming from?

Uhuru showed you the way on numerous occasions. He has publicly declared 10yangu 10 ya Ruto . If you want to create an impression that my president is a flip floper then you probably did not vote for him. I would also consider that as an insult to the kikuyu community since you have already consider him as our leader.

Here in Kenya, like world over, your vote and mine don't count in any presidential election, unless you are a member of a dynasty or you have amassed huge wealth - legally or otherwise.

Anyway there is hope because they do not rig gubernatorial positions and below (or it is not worth it), with exceptional of critical counties/constituencies.

The next time you go vote, please remember your civic duty is only limited to electing "small fish".

....He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion..

I have read the article and I come across this interesting quote.

"But ODM national chairman John Mbadi dismissed Mr Duale’s claims, saying he was only privy to plans by the Tangatanga wing of Jubilee and his sentiments do not reflect President Kenyatta’s ideologies."

This are interesting times indeed. The chairman of an opposition party dismissing a leader in the ruling party and is now the one to articulate the presidents ideologies.
Another sad thing is that when you read further the article creates an impression that the creme dela creme of the party have abandoned the president and he has been left with murathe waiguru and ngujiri of nyeri as his top defenders. Uhuru is ours mtajiju..

Politics is dynamic and is always evolving. Kumi kumi maneno is so old school and was relevant then (coz of ICC) but you shouldnt be stuck in 2013 when we are in 2020. A leader moves with the times and looks into the future, and now he has told us to support BBI, and thus we are 100% behind BBI until he tells us otherwise.

This kumi kumi sentiments were not made during the 2013 election campaigns. Then it was all about uhuru winning. It was not a guarantee that he was going to win. It was during the presidents first term in office that he said those precious words. He also icreased the volume during the 2017 presidential campaigns. They had already won their cases. So kumi kumi has nothing to do with the ICC saga.
the president brought BBI to unite the country but the ODM hijacked the initiative. That's the reason why majority of central Kenya is against it. We are not against the president but it's only that we don't trust his brother who entered the BBI with an ulterior motive.

Fellow Kenyans/Wazuans,greetings to you all.

COVID has taught us that we can do without politicians(ok maybe partially). Why not use this COVID given opportunity to stamp that. For example by ignoring all politics coming in at this time.Ignore this thread till after we are declared COVID free.

Based on this lessons let us start discussing the Kenya we want at that point.

Do we need 18 MPs in Nairobi? Can we reduce them to 5 by dividing the city into East,West,North,South and Central.Do we need over 200 MCAs,can we have 10MCAs in each constituency to support their MP.

Do we need 47 Governors, can we resort to our 8 old provinces as counties

.Then all the monies saved from the reduced seats will be used to improve public health care and education. We should never be caught up in a situation like this one on COVID again where we are on panic mode worried that if the numbers rise we have no hospitals. Our congested public schools can be improved and more of them built.
I believe the people of this great republik can drive change.

When the next COVID strikes,100 years from now let our great grand children find a better prepared Kenya.
Love is beautiful and so are those who share it.With Love, Marriage is an amazing event in ones life time, the foundation of joy, happiness and success.
