What good is this statistic if you have to be color coded 'Green' in order to move for 2 hrs, with the limit of only one person to move, per household?

All forms of life by design are wired for fighting to survive and procreate including this corona, staying alive gives people a chance to complain of "colors" or suing the state for civil liberties denial; the state is like your dictator parents who in hindsight....we have gratitude

Being alive is good. And it's the responsibility of the state to work for the good of the people. We also know that the state makes choices, what informs them? What values are pursued is an important factor.

Our wish is to have social relations and spaces back under our control. We want to enjoy the benefit of a shared sense of time. We need to perform our rituals just as in the past.

Proxemics are important in determining humanity, @T-bag. And when we find the state is promoting an asocial polity where each is a safe distance from the other, then we will find ourselves among the living dead.

I think the best thing for me to do, is write my paper and submit for peer review. If successful, then we can start thinking about clinical trials. A paper may be what we need now.

What we all need is a solution that is optimal for all of us. And it may be counterproductive for me to make noise here and fail to do the necessary tasks.

Haven't been keeping track of the numbers regarding covid-19.

Hoping someone can clear the air.

1. The siaya & kitui priest, did they turn positive or negative ?

2. Were there other cases in siaya / kitui ?

3. Do we have actual community transmission numbers ?

Both were positive, waiting for the good news of their recovery

Siaya Father is counted under Nairobi.

Contacts are in quarantine but not sure how many. However for Kitui they were reported to be around 40 pax.....comprising of family,Maguna Andu supermarket staff and some from the church.

3. Do we have actual community transmission numbers ?

Not heard any.

@tycho,

I have been reading your numerous posts on this thread, and not understanding what exactly you are trying to tell us.

So, I wholeheartedly support your above suggestion.
Stop wasting time here, and instead work on your paper.

As you say, a paper may be what we need now.

Thank you and good luck.

I have to admit. When Uhuru wants to work he really can.

They are doing exactly what they need to do given the circumstances.

Test and isolate. Ramp up the testing and contact tracing. Then slowly stop movement from one region to another.

Then add more kits where needed at a time. Kenya testing all our health care workers will be an achievement that even the US will not dare dream about.

We must support this gov't in what it is doing.
