A man claiming to be the husband of the late Kikuyu benga songstress Jane Nyambura, popularly known as Queen Jane, has obtained orders stopping his in-law’s plans to inter her remains.

James Kariuki successfully obtained the orders from Thika Senior Resident Magistrate Ms Barbara Otieno stopping the burial of the musician, which had been planned to take place Friday at her parent’s home in Mugoiri, Murang’a, until the case is heard and determined...........Its important to have a will....

The more reason why people should be cremated!! It saves on such nonsense and environment as well.

@Pastor,

I understand that sometimes the will can be overruled...

Some one explain to me; what does one gain in stopping the burial of another?

What is more important: to have the body of a loved one buried at the place of your choice or to attend the burial and pay your last respects?

And how does the wealth left behind factor into that equation?
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

correct me on this: qnjane was married til her death to jimmy wayuni(a singer) i did not hear abt the divorce!
I think he has the right to bury her and hold the cert. if it adds up 2 anything if THEY WERE LEGALLY married and the guy can produce a marriage cert.
