This is a worthy symbol for our times when sickness seems to knock. If we trace the mythology behind it, then it may be easy to know why it's the ultimate symbol for healing and medicine.

It was good for Imhotep, it was good for Moses, it was good for even for our most recent ancestors. So is it good for you too.

Yeah, even the winged rod with the snake. Meditation on it ni dawa by itself.

I think he is referring to the caduceus or the Rod of Asclepius. Ancient near east civilizations thought the snake had healing powers because it could shed its skin and rejuvenate itself.

@Rollins,@Sparkly:

The snake has been a symbol of wisdom for many people, and more so for the ancient people in Africa. This symbol is an archetype that occurs even in dreams. The Pharaoh's crown had a serpent...

The rod is the middle part of the human body, and yet also of the tree of life. Those that partake of this tree can heal all their conditions. The tree is eaten via visualization and self programming, and the theme is uniting with supreme being. Over Man.

Thus, we can boost our immunity and overcome Corona by creating body-mind conditions of the over Man. The concept here is based on bioinformatics. We can armor ourselves by training our minds on Supreme being.

Typically, one should:
1. See and realize that ease and happiness is a result of not clinging to objects, and one need not lie, or steal, or be incontinent.

2. Cultivate a desire and habit for excellence of the self through training the mind and body to be free.

Freedom being, a state of consciousness beyond the influence of desire. Because desire is a prompt to be optimal and not optimality itself.

By visualizing this powerful symbol we speak the deep unconscious and awaken healing. That is why Moses erected it and the Children of Israel were healed. And why erecting it now will help us meet this novel virus and any other disease.

@Sparkly, We can describe the history of Man regarding knowledge fairly accurately. For example, the fall of the ancient Egypt is fairly recent. We can compare ancient knowledge systems, and we can come to what we may call a 'Copernican' orientation when an anthropocentric view of the universe was abandoned.

An anthropocentric view held that all knowledge must come out of our communion with the unconscious. That is, one could condition the body-mind to a point of high receptivity of the unconscious. This was why people like Pythagoras were talking of ritual, sacrifice and piety.

From a premise of self sacrifice, the ancient mystique discerned what Jung calls a 'mandala' of the golden flower. Where a circle, is taken to symbolize an atom. When one circle then is cast, the whole universe can be simulated. Hence ancient Euclidean systems and we can go back to ancient Egypt and even to our great grandfathers.

Through the interaction with this mandala and geometric model under conditions of self sacrifice, the ancients founded their medical knowledge around the plexus regions of the body.

These plexus regions then led to deeper cognition of their optimal states. Their optimal states were named in terms of Supreme Being, and the location of the states of the plexus system were expressed in religious and metaphoric terms of the two trees in the middle of the garden of Eden, fed by the rivers. This is just but a version of this system of thought.

A geometric construction of the golden flower yields the two Trees magnificently, and the spine and plexuses are the middle pillar: then the left, and the right. The whole body is taken as a computational system with well articulated nodes. These are what a contemporary martial artist calls 'pressure points'.

Therefore one can apply mental energy to these points with specific focus on what we may call 'optimal computational focus'. As you can demonstrate with your body; your brain can communicate with your smallest toe.

Therefore your entire body-mind system can be tuned to optimal levels. This is the partaking of the Tree of life. Till now it has been described in purely religious terms. The use of religious language has some significant reasons that are beyond the scope of my response to your question. But I hope I have answered your question.
