Kiambu politician/ Moiruri now say Cohen owed them 35m, and want to be paid by the estate ASAP...

https://www.the-star.co....-goes-after-dci-kinoti/

Quote:
Wairimu claimed that Kinoti is determined to hand over the keys to her matrimonial home to the 'purported beneficiaries' of her husbands alleged Will.

"After opening of the Will, Gabrielle and her husband had no further use for my husband and promptly left the country despite publicly stating that they wanted to accord Cohen a decent Jewish burial," she said.

In the affidavit, Wairimu further reveals how she learnt that two unnamed Kiambu politicians claimed Cohen owed them Sh35million.

Wairimu said she unearthed this during the opening of his husbands Will.

"I learnt that the Will opening ceremony was attended by a politician one Patrick Muiruri and that two Kiambu politicians were claiming to be owed a sum of Sh35 million by my late husband," she said.

"... I am not aware that my late husband owed such a colossal amount of money to anyone let alone Kiambu politician and will in due course request that these claims be investigated."

The ndlama continues...

https://www.the-star.co....heart-of-cohen-divorce/

Quote:
- Cohen claimed that his wife had denied him sex for four years (since 2014) and that she would beat him repeatedly and injure him.

- Wairimu claimed Cohen had undergone prostate surgery that rendered him impotent.

Being released on bail does not exonerate her. She has a murder case that has to be determined before she can think of property. The Kenyan law is clear, where you are convicted of murder anything you call matrimonial does not belong to you.

And now, the judge could be in trouble for cavorting with a murder suspect in a case that might shed light on the rot in the Judiciary.

The suspect had reached out to him, hoping to get some advice just in case she was caught or if the police implicated her.

Investigations by the Nation indicate that the judge not only paid for the suspect’s ticket to Kisumu using M-Pesa, but also kept speaking to her as she boarded the flight on the day he sent his driver to pick her up and take her to the airport.

Quote:
In Nairobi, the suspect scanned copies of the media coverage and story links and sent them to the judge before she went to record her statement with the police the next day.

Sources say that she asked for a soft copy of her statement, which she immediately sent to the judge: “This is what the police have recorded; peruse, add/remove what is necessary and return …”

The judge received the copy. He then sent the copy to the suspect, who took the copy back to the police station.

No, it's not in connection with the murder of Cohen. It's in connection with the murder of a belgian lady based in Nakuru. The murder suspect in this case is Waithera NOT Wairimu.

Detectives from the Homicide Investigations Unit have taken over investigations into the disappearance and possible killing of Belgian national Dysseleer Mireille Lesoipa.

This comes as details emerged that her closest confidante, Ms Lucy Waithera Njuguna, allegedly forged a death certificate and claimed that she died of HIV/Aids.

Quote:
Ms Waithera has told police that Ms Lesoipa’s body was cremated as she had allegedly wished.

But police investigations reveal that she wanted her body donated to a university for research. Investigators also established that Ms Lesoipa had in her will mentioned that she had money in three bank accounts.

Quote:
A DCI officer said police were combing the home to find out whether Ms Lesoipa was killed and her body dumped or burnt in the compound.

“We suspect that she was murdered but what we are doing now is to try and establish where her body is,” the officer said.

Quote:
Mr Nabonwe told the court that detectives were hoping to arrest more people who frequently communicated with Ms Waithera but switched off their phones after learning about the investigations into Ms Lesoipa’s disappearance.
