Let's start with the West: what evidence is there to show that the Western civilization is 'noble' - of highest quality for most of her citizens - for the longest? There is none in the positive. What we have instead are crises at a time when they ought to be at the best. For example, wars and conflicts have been more deliberate and controlled.

Coming here in Kenya: apparently the best way to render most people ineffective and aloof is to give them quality Western education.

Besides, getting good Western education takes so much time before one can gain proficiency. Then after proficiency one has to translate knowledge gained into Africa. A very difficult task if you ask me.

Western education can't help us to identify and meet our needs effectively. We need to develop education systems that are infused with African Humanism. That way we can gain proficiency in our problems and we'll be able to share with the world constructively unlike now, where the African is almost sub human.
